VHCA – First Ever Class

The first class of the VHCA will give new students the opportunity to swing a sword, get a feel for sabre and single-stick and learn more about the plans for the Academy.

We’ll take a look at our foundation sabre text – The Art of the Dueling Sabre and run through an introductory class about this fascinating Italian military style of sabre combat.

Experienced students will have the opportunity to cross swords, so bring your gear!

VHCA Planning Night

The Victorian Historical Combat Academy will hold a planning night on Wednesday 13 January 2016. The Planning Night is an opportunity for people who are involved with the VHCA (or who want to be involved with the VHCA), to come along, get to know other Academy members and discuss issues such as the syllabus, training methodologies, governance and leadership positions, marketing and the like.

The Planning Night will be held from 7pm to 10pm in the School Hall of the Moorabbin Primary School, Worthing Road, Moorabbin.

Assuming the planning session only goes for two hours, there will also be time for social bouting, so feel free to bring along your gear.

Please accept the Event Invitation on the VHCA FB Page if you are intending to come along.

I hope to see you there!
